RiDO's Managed Business Centres

RiDO provide over 180 office/workspaces for start-up and small businesses in Business Centres across the borough. All centres offer  full secretarial and administrative support services; many to business incubation standards.

In RiDO's Business Centres the survival rate for companies for the crucial first 3 years is over 80%, which is well above the national average of 71%.

This support includes on site business adviser support, access to training, marketing, supply chain linkages, plus access to other partner organisations who contribute to the growth aspirations of new start businesses.

All the units are provided at easy-in/easy-out terms on a monthly licence basis, and with access to broadband connectivity. Each centre provides: 

• Reception and administration services
• Secretarial, photocopying, fax and postal service
• On-site business advice
• Meeting and conference rooms
• Unlimited access and full security
• Broadband facilities for each unit
• Managed telecommunications

Off-Site Support and Mentoring
In addition to the Business Centres, RiDO’s enterprise and incubation support services can provide advice and mentoring to pre-start and new start businesses operating in other parts of the borough. This is achieved working in close collaboration with other key business support organisations.
