We can even make a contribution towards your shop fitting costs (eliigibility criteria will apply). For more information contact Rotherham Town Centre Management Team on 01709 372099 or visit their website. The Rotherham Renaissance project focuses on the opportunities of the River Don with riverside office developments, marinas, pavement cafés, new restaurants, and an enhanced night-time economy. It will include the development of a new civic, cultural and arts quarter, featuring green public spaces and boulevards, and much more…
Moorgate Crofts start-Up business centre was the first completed building in this programme and opened summer 2005 - see the Business Centres section for further details. Other projects include: new homes, offices and shops, the redevelopment of the markets and College area, to create a massively improved environment in which people will live, learn and work. Award-winning Liverpool-based developer Iliad is creating one of the biggest elements of the Renaissance programme - the £37m Westgate Project, the first stage in improving a major gateway into the town centre. Iliad, is well advanced with the first phase of its All Saints' Quarter, which will create bright new residential, retail, office and public space between the town centre and the River Don. Seeing really is believing when it comes to Rotherham’s Renaissance! Rotherham people are now being invited to take a look at a new scale model to see what goes where in the £2bn regeneration of the town centre. The 3D model is on display on the Ground Floor of Bailey House near to the reception desk. There is also an opportunity for people to complete surveys on what their views are of the town centre, which we would be grateful to hear.
